Italy to announce new aid package for Ukraine in June, which will include SAMP/T

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to La Repubblica.
According to the publication's sources in the executive branch, the ninth aid package from Italy will include SAMP/T, an effective air defense system that Ukraine needs to protect its capital and major urban centers.
The only system available to Rome is the one that has long been in service in Slovakia, and it was selected for delivery.
Two systems will be used to protect Italy, including in connection with the G7 summit in Borgo Egnazia. One is in reserve, again to protect the country. The fourth is in Kuwait and will remain there for some time.
