Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavliuk, the commander of the Ukrainian Army, said this in an interview with The Times.
“The priority weapon we need from the outside is air defense to protect our people, cities and infrastructure from Russian air and missile strikes,” Pavliuk said.
He also emphasized the need for long-range artillery, which is very important for Ukraine.
According to Pavliuk, with good air defense and long-range artillery, the Ukrainian defense forces could take away the strategic advantage from the Russians on the battlefield.
