Ukraine improves attack drones
Ukrainian developers have managed to improve attack drones with a special chip. It allows to delay the drone's explosion, Wired reports.
According to the publication, the new development allows the operator to land his vehicle from several hours to several days before the drone explodes. The developers of the chip say that this technology may soon be connected to artificial intelligence. This will allow the detonation to be triggered if a tank is detected nearby.
The developer of the chip, whose name has been changed for security reasons, said he was very proud of this development.
According to the authors of the article, Ukrainian developers were also able to turn drones into a long-range "smart" mine. The peculiarity of such drones is that the munition has to fall to detonate. However, the developed chip solves this problem - it can increase the efficiency of FPV drones.
