The United States has delivered 31 Abrams tanks to Germany, which will be used to train the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement by Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder.
"I can confirm that 31 M1 Abrams tanks have arrived in Germany," Ryder said.
According to him, they will be used to prepare for further training of Ukrainian tank crews.
The Pentagon spokesman added that the Ukrainian military is estimated to arrive for training within the next few weeks.
The Pentagon explained earlier that the 31 Abrams tanks that will be sent to Germany to train the AFU will not go to the front.
Lloyd Austin said previously that the Abrams, which will undergo modification, will arrive in Ukraine in early fall.
