Over the last day, the aviation of the Defense Forces conducted nine strikes on the areas of concentration of occupants' personnel and military equipment. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft near Maryinka.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a morning report, Ukrinform reports.
"The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out nine strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers over the day. In addition, our defenders destroyed a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft near Mariinka. The enemy also lost seven UAVs, including three Orlan, three Lancet, and one Merlin," the statement said.
Instead, the enemy launched two missiles and 35 air strikes over the past day, firing more than 40 times from multiple launch rocket systems.
The probability of further missile and air strikes remains high throughout Ukraine.
The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Liman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka directions. Over the past day, thanks to the courage of each soldier, more than 60 enemy attacks in these areas were repelled.
In the Volyn, Polissia, Siversk and Slobozhansky sectors, the operational situation remained unchanged, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected. The enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the areas of the Kursk and Belgorod regions bordering Ukraine. In the border areas of the Kursk region, the enemy continues to equip the area with engineering equipment.
Over the past day, the enemy fired at Leonivka, Hremyach in the Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Seredyna-Buda, Zarutske in the Sumy region, as well as Guryev Kozachok, Lukianets, Verkhnya Pysarivka, Grafske, Zybino, Karaichne, Potikhonove, Ambarne, Bolohivka, Krasne Pershe and Novomlynsk in Kharkiv region.
In the Kupyansk sector, Topoli, Figolivka, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Krokhmalne, Husynka, and Kindrashivka in the Kharkiv region, and Novoselivske in the Luhansk region came under hostile fire.
In the Liman sector, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives south of Kreminna, as well as in the areas of Serebryanske and Verkhnekamianske forestry. Novoselivske, Makiivka, Nevske, Kuzmine, Dibrova, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Torske, Zarichne, Spirne, Berestove in Donetsk region came under artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut sector, the enemy continues to conduct offensive actions, trying to take full control of the city of Bakhmut, and fierce fighting continues. Over the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in the area east of Bohdanivka and Ivanivske. Ukrainian defense forces repelled about 20 enemy attacks in this area. Over 25 localities in the combat zone suffered from enemy shelling, including Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Bakhmut, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Novomarkove, Stupochki, Shumy, Toretsk and New York in Donetsk Oblast.
In the Avdiivka and Maryinka directions, the enemy conducted offensive actions
in the areas of Novokalynove, Severne, Pervomaiske, Maryinka, and Pobeda in the Donetsk region, but was unsuccessful. The fiercest fighting in this sector is taking place near Maryinka, where over 15 enemy attacks were repelled. At the same time, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Severne, Vodiane, Pervomayske, Karlivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka, Pobeda, and Paraskoviivka in the Donetsk region came under hostile fire.
In the Shakhtarsk sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions over the last day. It fired at Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Kermenchyk, Novomayorske, Zolota Niva, Shakhtarske, and Velyka Novosilka in the Donetsk region.
At the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to build up defensive lines and positions in terms of fortifications. It fired at over 40 localities. Among them are Malynivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Novopavlivka in the Zaporizhzhia region; Kachkarivka, Zmiivka, Inzhenerne, and Zelenivka in the Kherson region, as well as Kherson.
In the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, Russian occupiers have intensified preparations to evacuate the local population to the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. In particular, in Melitopol and Skadovsk, the enemy organized a survey of the local population regarding possible evacuation. During the survey, the presence of a Russian passport, residence and level of education are checked. Buses with people willing to evacuate are periodically departing. The occupiers are spreading information that the forced evacuation of civilians will begin at the end of April.
