An unknown object exploded on a playground in the Kherson region

In the village of Zahoryanivka, Kherson region, two children were injured in an explosion of an unknown object. This was announced on June 2 by the head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
The explosion occurred on a playground where children were playing. A 13-year-old child sustained shrapnel injuries to his limbs, and a 10-year-old sustained a stomach injury.
The children were taken to hospital, their condition is serious. Doctors are providing all necessary assistance. The older boy is undergoing surgery.
"Once again I urge parents to be vigilant. Watch where your children are playing. Do not touch unknown objects," urged Prokudin.
