Secretary of the Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan said that a peace agreement with Azerbaijan is possible by the end of the year.
This was reported by Radio Azatutyun.
"The negotiations are very intense, and if we keep this course, there is a possibility of concluding a peace agreement at the end of the year," said Armen Grigoryan.
"We are determined to find solutions and, within the framework of these solutions, to promote the peace agenda and conclude a peace agreement," he added.
Yerevan positively assesses the meeting of the leaders held in Chisinau on June 1, Grigoryan said.
"This is a good opportunity to advance the peace agenda. The support of the international community for this agenda is very important," the Armenian Security Council Secretary said.
According to Grigoryan, there is one important thing about unblocking the communication routes that is clear to all partners involved: "The borders will be under the control of the Armenian side, which means that during the unblocking in the context of Armenia, border control will be carried out only by Armenian services".
