Army of drones destroyed 101 units of RF equipment in a week
Drone strike units from the Drone Army destroyed 101 pieces of Russian equipment worth millions of dollars last week. This was announced on July 24 by Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on Telegram.
Over the week, thanks to UAVs, the Russians lost another 21 tanks, 36 armored combat vehicles, five guns, three air defense systems, 23 units of special vehicles, three ammunition and fuel depots, 12 pieces of radio equipment, one self-propelled artillery unit, and 18 strongholds. The losses among the personnel amounted to 76 people.
"We continue to equip our military with technologies that help them effectively destroy enemies and save their own lives. I am grateful to our heroes for their powerful results. We will continue to work. There will be more drones," said Fedorov.
The Army of Drones project was launched by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of Digital Transformation. The program involves the systematic purchase of drones and their transfer to the Ukrainian military. The project also includes the repair of drones and training of drone operators.
Earlier, the Army of Drones received 53 pickup trucks for the strike companies. The full equipment of the UAV strike companies consists of drones for reconnaissance and strike missions, Starlink for uninterrupted communication on the battlefield, and pickups.
