At the next Ramstein meeting, which will be held on May 25, the strengthening of the Ukrainian air defense system as well as the provision of ammunition and the transfer of F-16 fighter jets will be discussed.
This was announced by Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder, Ukrinform reported.
The meeting will begin with Ukraine voicing urgent needs and describing developments on the front. The Pentagon expects that the priority topics will remain strengthening ground-based air defense and supplying the military with ammunition.
"And then there will also be a discussion about F-16 training," Ryder stressed.
He noted that Ukrainian pilots will be trained in Europe, but declined to provide details on the matter.
