"In total, the Contact Group has allocated about $65 billion in defense assistance. Putin hoped that our resolve would fade, and he was betting that our unity would crack. But we remain as united as ever," he said.

We should add that the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) estimates that Russian military spending increased by about 9.2 percent in 2022 to about $86.4 billion.

While Ukraine's military spending was estimated at $44 billion.

At today's 12th Ramstein meeting, allies must agree on further aid to Ukraine. The focus remains on strengthening air defense and supplying fighters with ammunition.

In addition, the Pentagon reported that partners may discuss the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
