Austrian ruling party accuses opposition of working for Kremlin

The far-right Austrian Freedom Party (FPÖ) and its leader Herbert Kieckl, using the country's neutrality as a cover, are actually helping Russia and serving as a tool for its propaganda in Austria and Europe as a whole.
This was stated by the Secretary General of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) Christian Stocker, RBC-Ukraine reports citing Ukrinform.
"The Austrian Freedom Party has become a tool of the Kremlin for propaganda in our country and in Europe. Therefore, it plays a special role in Russia's campaign to destabilize the situation in Europe," Stocker said.
As an example, he cited the party's distribution of 280 press releases demanding the lifting of European Union sanctions against Russia.
