Three Baltic countries - Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia - offered to use their ports for the safe transportation of grain from Ukraine after Russia's withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative. To implement the plan, the states asked for help from the European Commission.
According to Censor.NET, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis tweeted about this
"The Baltic countries have five ports that can be used to safely export much more Ukrainian grain. We are officially proposing that the European Commission help us increase the railroad capacity for the Baltic Sea Route," he wrote.
