Borrell arrives in Odesa on an unannounced visit

The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, arrived in Odesa unannounced today.
According to Ukrinform, Borrell announced this on the X network.
"Odesa is a beautiful historic city. It should be in the headlines for its vibrant culture and spirit. Instead, it appears in the news as a frequent target of Putin's war. The EU supports the stabilization of the sites that have suffered from Russia's barbaric destruction," the diplomat wrote.
In another post, Borrell noted that a year has passed since Russia's illegal annexation of Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.
"Ukraine has every right to defend itself against Russian aggression and regain full control over its territory," he emphasized.-
Borrell added that the EU will support Ukraine "as long as it takes".
