The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, has called for continued EU military support for Ukraine to end the war with Russia.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Europa Press.
He said that it is necessary to "continue to provide military support to Ukraine" as a means of ending the war.
"There are many countries behind the peace plan of the Ukrainian president, and if we do not help Ukraine militarily, this country will not be able to defend itself. If we did not help Ukraine militarily, it would not be able to defend itself," Borrell said.
At the same time, he added that the EU should "make sure that at some point peace talks start, what seems to be negotiations that are currently difficult."
"Winter is coming soon and operations will be slowed down for that time. Operations will be slowed down because of the bad weather," he said.-
