Borrell confirms visit of EU foreign ministers to Kyiv

EU High Representative Josep Borrell has announced that the EU Foreign Affairs Council will soon hold a meeting in Kyiv to get acquainted with the situation in Ukraine.
He said this during a press conference in New York following a meeting of EU foreign ministers as part of their participation in the UN General Assembly, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"In discussing our bilateral relations with Ukraine, we focused on security. In particular, on this Ukrainian Auxiliary Fund within the European Peace Facility, which I proposed to the ministers in Toledo (during an informal meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council - ed.) We will continue to discuss this. We will also discuss it with our Ukrainian partners. I can tell you that we will have a meeting of foreign ministers in Kyiv very soon, in the next period. I won't give specific dates yet, but it will happen soon," the EU High Representative said.
