Borrell hopes Ukraine will receive F-16s soon

EU High Representative Josep Borrell hopes that the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine will begin soon.
He said this before the meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels, according to Yevropeiska Pravda.
Borrell welcomed the approval of the decision to transfer modern fighter jets to Ukraine, adding that the country's defense forces need them.
"Pilot training has already begun, and I hope that we will soon be able to provide Ukraine with these weapons," he emphasized.
At the same time, there has been no confirmation from European countries that are supposed to train Ukrainian pilots on F-16s that the training has begun.
