The Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that Brazil will participate in a summit on Ukraine in Saudi Arabia on August 5 and 6.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Globo.
The ministry said that Brazil will accept the invitation to the summit, but has not yet determined who will be part of the delegation and represent the Brazilian government.
The Wall Street Journal, citing diplomats, reported that a peace summit on Ukraine will be held in Saudi Arabia. As noted, Russia was not invited to the summit. According to the newspaper, the summit is scheduled for August 5 and 6.
Yesterday, the Czech Republic confirmed the meeting. A representative of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Daniel Drake, said that Prague would participate in the summit.
In addition, Western countries, as well as developing countries, including India, are expected to attend the event.
The United States will be represented at the summit in Saudi Arabia by White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.
