Britain answered whether it will send fighter jets to Ukraine

Britain has no plans to transfer Typhoon fighters to Ukraine after the Ukrainian military said that it preferred F-16 fighters.

This was announced by the British prime minister's spokesperson, according to The Guardian.

"There are no plans to do that. The Ukrainians made the decision to train their pilots on F-16s and you will know the RAF (Royal Air Force, - ed.)  don’t use those," the spokesperson said, when asked whether Britain would send fighters to Ukraine.

Earlier, UK Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said that the UK would not send fighter jets to Ukraine in the "short term". At the same time, future deliveries of the planes should not be ruled out.
