Among the vessels under sanctions are oil tankers such as Nikolya Zuyev, SCF Vankor, Vladimir Tikhonov, SCF Baltica, NS ASIA, Leonid Loza, Olimpiysky Prospect, NS CLIPPER, NS CORONA, and the Panamanian-flagged Zaliv Aniva.

The government stated that these vessels are involved in the transportation of oil and oil products of Russian origin to third countries, which contributes to the destabilization of Ukraine and violates its territorial integrity and sovereignty by supporting the Russian government.

Sanctions against Russia

Since its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has been subject to 14 sets of sanctions from the European Union in response to its aggression.

At the end of June, a new package was approved, affecting Russian propagandists, cultural figures, the mother of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, and FSB officials. Read more about those who have been sanctioned by the EU in RBC-Ukraine's article.
