Britain obliges diplomats from Russia to report on travels in the UK

In response to Russia's actions, the United Kingdom obliged Russian diplomats to report their travels through the UK.
This was stated by Deputy Foreign Secretary Leo Docherty, RBC-Ukraine reports citing the press service of the British Parliament.
"In response to Russia's decision to introduce travel reporting requirements for British diplomats in Russia, we have introduced reciprocal travel reporting requirements for Russian diplomats accredited to the Russian Embassy in London and the Consulate General in Edinburgh," he said.
The official added that the restrictions on Russian diplomats are in line with the concept of reciprocity under the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
