Amid fears of a possible escalation of the war in the Middle East, Canada is evacuating all children of its diplomats from Israel.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by CBC News.
"The Foreign Ministry said it had approved the temporary relocation of children and their guardians to a safe third country," the article says.
It is noted that the Canadian embassies in Tel Aviv and Beirut, as well as the mission to the Palestinian Authority, "continue to provide the necessary services to Canadians in full."
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs added that Canadian diplomats assigned to Lebanon and Palestine do not live with family members, so no evacuations are being carried out from these diplomatic missions.
