The temporarily occupied Crimea is not protected by air defense systems, so the Ukrainian military can continue to hit targets.
This was stated by military analyst Yevhen Dykyi on the air of the national marathon "United News" on the TV channel "We-Ukraine".
"Somehow the strike on Cape Fiolent was less noticed. But the fact is that the only electronic warfare unit of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was located there. It was supposed to cover Crimea from sea and air drones that would have entered from the open sea," the expert emphasized.
According to him, all that the Russian occupiers can do now is to bring in the 70s Osa system. This way they would try to compensate for the loss of electronic warfare.
