Jan 13, 2023

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic has promised to continue to support Ukraine despite the parliament's refusal to approve the participation of the Croatian military in the EU training mission.

This is reported by ERR.

According to Plenkovic, Croatia is not in the habit of disclosing the content of military aid.

He expressed regret that the Croatian parliament did not allow military instructors to be sent to train Ukrainians as part of an EU mission.

"We do not disclose what we give Ukrainians, but it is substantial military aid, and it corresponds to what Ukrainians expect from allies and partners. We will continue to provide support. I'm sorry that some Croatian MPs failed to make the right historic decision, whereas the choice was easy," Plenkovic said.
