Denmark contributes $14 million to purchase ammunition for Ukraine

Oct 2, 2023

Denmark has contributed $14 million to purchase ammunition for Ukraine. This was reported by the Danish Ministry of Defense.

"Denmark will facilitate more joint purchases of ammunition and remains ready to support Ukraine in the long term," the Danish Defense Minister assured.

The Defense Ministry also added that the ammunition will be delivered to Ukraine in 2024.

As a reminder, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin wants the world to get tired of Ukraine. However, the meeting of EU ministers that took place in Kyiv on October 2 proves that he is not succeeding. This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba following the meeting.

According to the Ukrainian foreign minister, the visit of EU ministers to Kyiv is not just a gesture of symbolic support.

"We will always find a solution, and Putin's biggest expectation is that the West and the world will get tired of standing by Ukraine in this war. Russia is directing huge resources to this. But we should not play along. I am referring to those experts and journalists who spread these theses. Because there is a clear understanding that Russia today is a threat to the whole of Europe, and in a broader sense, to the whole world. But we have unity," Kuleba emphasized.
