Denmark, together with other countries, is purchasing an additional 45 tanks for Ukraine.
This was announced on Tuesday by Defense Minister Trolls Lund Poulsen, Politiken reports.
The batch will consist of 30 Leopard 1 tanks and 15 T-72 tanks. They are being purchased in cooperation with other countries, Poulsen said.
"This is happening in cooperation with other countries that have access to the tanks they have," the minister said upon arrival at the Ramstein base in Germany, where a meeting of the contact group on Ukraine's defense is taking place.
