The Danish government plans to allocate 1.3 billion Danish kroner (about 170 million euros) for military support to Ukraine.

The aid package includes, among other things, air defense missiles, ammunition, demining vehicles, and funds for the purchase of artillery shells.

"It is very important that we continue to support Ukraine. This is a large and important donation that we have made based on the wishes and needs of Ukraine, and which should support Ukraine's fight against Russian troops," said Acting Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen.

According to him, this aid package sends an important signal that Denmark will stand by Ukraine as long as necessary.

"Unfortunately, it seems that the war is dragging on, and with these numerous donations, we and our allies are sending a strong message that we support Ukrainians in the long term," summarized Mr. Lund Poulsen.
