North Korea is stepping up security measures to protect Kim Jong-un due to the possible threat of assassination attempts. Pyongyang is installing communication jamming systems and drone detection equipment.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Yonhap TV.
South Korean intelligence data indicate that the DPRK has strengthened security measures for its leader Kim Jong-un. They are concerned about a potential assassination attempt.
The DPRK will additionally deploy communication jamming equipment and work on the introduction of drone detection equipment. Intelligence data show that this year the number of Kim Jong-un's public speeches has increased by 60% compared to 2023.
It is known that the DPRK is probably preparing to re-launch a reconnaissance satellite and is closely monitoring the possibility of a seventh nuclear test after the US presidential election.
