Duda on nuclear weapons: whoever uses them first will be cursed

Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and his generals are well aware that the first to use nuclear weapons will be cursed.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to TVN24.

Dood commented on Putin's statement about the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons.

“If we look at this in a cool and non-panicky way, it should be clear: he is repeating what has been enshrined in Russian military doctrine for many years, that Russia reserves the right to use any means, including, of course, the nuclear means at its disposal, in the event of a threat to Russia... This is nothing new,” Duda said.

At the same time, the president noted that the first to use nuclear weapons will bear all responsibility.

“On the other hand, Vladimir Putin also knows very well, as do his generals, that the one who uses nuclear weapons first is cursed... They will never absolve themselves of this responsibility if they use nuclear weapons. Not even to the slightest extent. Never. The world will never forgive them,” he added.
