Erdogan's chief adviser heads Turkey's intelligence service

Ibrahim Kalin, head of the Turkish Presidential Communications Directorate, will become the head of the country's National Intelligence Organization (MIT).
This is stated in the Directorate's message on Twitter.
"President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has appointed Ibrahim Kalın as the new head of the National Intelligence Organization," the tweet reads.
Kalın himself did not comment directly on the appointment, but posted a photo of the Turkish flag on Twitter and wrote: "Don't stop for my beautiful country, keep going...".
