Last night, on October 29, explosions were heard in Kyiv during an air raid alert due to an enemy attack using kamikaze drones. The air defense system in the capital continues to work.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine correspondent and head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Serhiy Popko.
The explosion was heard in the capital at about half past five in the morning. Later, more sounds similar to explosions were heard.
Local authorities said that the Ukrainian military repelled the enemy air attack.
“Air defense is working in Kyiv. Stay in shelters until the air raid is over!” said the head of the Kyiv City Air Defense Administration, Serhiy Popko.
Earlier it was reported that air defense was also operating in Kyiv region. Enemy attack drones were spotted in the region.
In addition, according to the Ukrainian Air Force, Shahed groups were observed in the Kyiv region.
