Finland advises its citizens in Britain to avoid crowds

Finland has updated its travel advisory for its citizens in the United Kingdom in the wake of the country's unrest.

According to Yle, the update was published by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On the page with advice for travelers to a particular country regarding Britain, an update appeared that local unrest continues in the United Kingdom, which may pose a danger.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Finns in the country to avoid large crowds and follow the recommendations of local authorities.

At the same time, the head of the Foreign Ministry's consular department, Jussi Tanner, noted that Britain continues to be considered safe for travel and that in general, citizens should exercise "standard caution".

He also said that none of the Finnish citizens in the UK had contacted the hotline in connection with the recent events.
