The head of the agency, Sabine Lackner, arrived in Kyiv on a visit during which she intends to meet with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Emergency Service.

The meetings will also discuss further deliveries of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

The main focus will be on the winter, when people will need heating devices in the first place.

“My visit convinces me that our support for the people of Ukraine should not decrease,” the official said.

As noted, the German agency has already provided humanitarian aid to Ukraine in the amount of more than 120 million euros.
