Germany approves additional 400 million euros for military aid to Ukraine

On Wednesday, September 25, the Bundestag approved the German government's proposal to increase funding for military support for Ukraine. The amount of support is approximately 400 million euros.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the website of the German Federal Government.

According to the report, Russia's aggressive war has caused enormous damage to Ukrainian cities and infrastructure. That is why Germany will provide an additional 170 million euros in the short term to restore Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

In addition, the Bundestag approved an increase in funding for military support for Ukraine by about 400 million euros. It is noted that these funds will allow the purchase of additional air defense equipment, tanks, drones, ammunition and spare parts, which will effectively strengthen the Ukrainian armed forces in defense.
