The Minister of National Defense of Turkey, Hulusi Akar, during a telephone conversation with the Ministers of Defense and Infrastructure of Ukraine, stressed that the shipment of Ukrainian grain must be clearly separated from the "conflict".
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Turkey, writing European Truth.
In the conversation, Akar stressed the "importance of maintaining the grain agreement, which has enabled the safe export of more than 10 million products to those in need".
According to him, the Black Sea corridor is much faster and more convenient to transport grain than overland, and the shipment of grain "should be separated from the conditions of the conflict."
"Our country, including our president, will continue to contribute to peace in the region and humanitarian aid at all levels," the ministry said.
