Former U.S. Army Commander in Europe General Ben Hodges believes that criticism of the Ukrainian counteroffensive is unprofessional and useless.
This was reported by the Voice of America.
Hodges noted that Ukrainian soldiers have to advance without the support of aviation, without which the United States, Britain, or Germany would never send their soldiers into combat.
According to the US military, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are conducting multi-component complex operations, including the work of special forces, drone attacks, cyber warfare, and disabling Russian radars and air defense.
"Counteroffensive is not just something we see on the battlefield," Ben Hodges emphasized.
The general added that those who criticize how someone else enters minefields and trenches and clears them from 8,000 kilometers away should be ashamed of themselves.
