Canada, together with its allies, has agreed on approaches to transferring modern military equipment to Ukraine and maintaining it in good working order.
According to an Ukrinform correspondent, Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand wrote about this on her Twitter page.
"I met with colleagues from Finland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Germany and Sweden to discuss the logistics of the military equipment we are sending to Ukraine, including Leopard 2 main battle tanks," Anand said.
She added that "in support of Ukraine, we will continue to work together on training, spare parts and ammunition."-
As Ukrinform reported, Canada announced last week that it would join the international "tank coalition" and provide Ukraine with four Leopard 2 tanks. Canada also agreed to buy NASAMS air defense system and 200 armored vehicles for Ukraine.
