Hungary will not make a financial contribution to the European Union's long-term loan to support Ukraine in 2023 in the amount of 18 billion euros. This was stated by Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, UNN reports with reference to Portfolio.
"We are ready to continue financial support on the basis of a bilateral agreement between Ukraine and Hungary. But, of course, we will not support any joint borrowing of the European Union in this area," - Szijjarto said.
According to him, Hungary has already provided sufficient financial assistance to Ukraine through joint borrowing during the coronavirus pandemic.
"We supported joint borrowing during the coronavirus epidemic, but it was more than enough," he said.-
