There is a danger that Russia will strike at Ukrainian nuclear power plants. In the event of an attack, Poland will have to immediately intervene and call in experts.
This was stated by Polish President Andrzej Duda, RBC-Ukraine reports citing RIA Novosti.
According to Duda, Russia has already attacked the Zaporizhzhia NPP and the idle Chornobyl NPP. However, fortunately, this did not lead to a nuclear disaster.
“There is a risk of attacks on other power plants - Rivne or Khmelnytsky - and we must take this into account. If there are attacks, we will have to intervene immediately and call in experts,” the Polish president emphasized.
