In the Kharkiv region, 90 children have been evacuated

The evacuation of civilians from dangerous settlements in the Kupyansk district of the Kharkiv region continues. Since the beginning of the mandatory evacuation, 248 people, including 90 children, have been evacuated from areas subject to constant enemy shelling.


This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov, Ukrinform reports.

"A total of 248 people have been evacuated since August 9, 2023, including 90 children," Syniehubov said.

According to him, 44 people, including 19 children and 2 people with disabilities, were evacuated from the communities that are constantly under enemy fire over the past day.

It is noted that all evacuees receive medical, legal, psychological and humanitarian assistance. Those who need it are provided with free temporary housing.
