In Ukraine, it was possible to completely restore more than 300 medical facilities damaged during the war.
This was announced by the Ministry of Health, Ukrinform reports.
"Currently, more than 1,500 medical facilities have been damaged or destroyed. We strive not just to restore them, but to rebuild them better than they were... More than 700 objects of medical institutions have already been partially or completely restored," said Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko.
Thus, according to the Ministry of Health, during the full-scale war, 1,389 medical facilities were damaged, and another 186 facilities were completely destroyed. The medical infrastructure of Kharkiv Oblast, Donetsk Oblast, Mykolaiv Oblast, Kyiv Oblast and Chernihiv Oblast suffered the greatest losses.
Despite constant enemy shelling and bombardment, part of the medical facilities in Ukraine has already been restored. In particular, as of the end of July 2023, 343 medical facilities have been restored, and another 414 facilities have been partially restored.
Most of the restored medical facilities are in Mykolaiv Oblast, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Kyiv Oblast, Kharkiv Oblast and Chernihiv Oblast.
