It is important that Ukraine is not under pressure from any side
Finnish Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen believes that Ukraine should determine the terms of peace itself without external pressure.

According to Valtonen, who has been heading the Finnish Foreign Ministry for a month and a half, the West is doing everything possible to end the war by supporting Ukraine "decisively, convincingly and persistently."
According to her, what the long-awaited peace will look like in the end should be determined by Ukraine itself.
"Especially now it is very important that Ukraine is not under pressure from any side," the minister said.
She reminds us that Ukraine is a sovereign state recognized worldwide, which has the right to territorial integrity and defense.
"By the same logic, Ukraine will be able to determine when it is ready for peace talks or perhaps peace," Valtonen said.
