The Ukrainian and Japanese governments discuss holding the second round of an international conference on Ukraine's recovery in Japan.
Ambassador of Ukraine to Japan Sergiy Korsunsky said this in an interview with NHK, Ukrinform reports.
According to the diplomat, the governments are discussing holding a conference after the one to be held in London in June.
Korsunsky emphasized that no country in the world has a better and more thorough reconstruction experience than Japan. The Land of the Sun in the East has managed to rebuild and restart its economy after natural disasters and destruction, and Ukraine wants to learn from its experience.
Commenting on the visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Japan to participate in the G7 Summit, the ambassador said that it was a very difficult task, but Zelenskyy could not miss the opportunity to personally communicate with the leaders of the G7, India, and other countries.
