Kremlin reacts to France's decision to provide Ukraine with missiles

Today, French President Emmanuel Macron announced the transfer of long-range missiles to Ukraine. It is not yet known what kind of missiles are involved, but France is armed with SCALP-EG cruise missiles. Earlier, Western media reported that Paris was preparing to provide them to Ukraine for defense.

Putin has already reacted to Macron's decision. Traditionally, this was done by the press secretary of the leader of the fascist regime of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov.

He repeated the mantra that this decision will not affect the course of the war (the Kremlin said the same thing about MLRS, tanks, British missiles, cluster munitions, etc.), but it will only burden the fate of the Ukrainian government. So we have another threat.

Peskov did not say what exactly he was talking about, resorting to a general statement that Russia would be forced to take countermeasures.

In May, Ukraine received Storm Shadow cruise missiles from the UK (they are the same as the French SCALP-EG), which can hit at 250-300 kilometers. Since then, they have been used to inflict significant losses on Russian equipment and destroy their ammunition and fuel depots.
