Kuleba discusses expansion of F-16 initiative with Norwegian FM

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba had a telephone conversation with his Norwegian counterpart Espen Barth Eide, during which, among other things, they discussed the possibility of expanding the F-16 fighter jet initiative.

Kuleba wrote about this on Twitter, according to Yevropeiska Pravda.

In particular, the Ukrainian minister thanked Norway for participating in the coalition to provide F-16s to Ukraine.

"We discussed the expansion of this initiative," he added.

The parties also agreed on the next steps to involve new countries in the process of implementing the "peace formula".

Separately, Kuleba emphasized that he appreciated Norway's efforts "to increase assistance to Ukraine, as well as its decision to take additional steps to strengthen our energy system."

F-16 fighter jets are provided to Ukraine by Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium and Norway.
