Kuleba promises more news about combat aircraft for Ukraine
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that more news about the provision of modern Western combat aircraft to Ukraine will appear in the near future.
He said this in a video message posted on Facebook.
"Wait for the news. There will be even more in the near future - in terms of aircraft. Very intensive diplomacy is taking place at all levels, which brings us closer to the fact that we will effectively close the Ukrainian sky, that we will significantly strengthen our air force, that we will receive fundamentally new capabilities," the Ukrainian Foreign Minister said.
According to him, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit to Italy, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom is crucial in the formation of an aviation coalition.
He also spoke about contacts with the United States regarding aircraft for Ukraine. In particular, Kuleba raised the issue of F-16s during talks with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
