Latvia to use the military to build the border infrastructure

Latvia plans to involve the National Armed Forces in the construction of security infrastructure on the Latvian-Russian land border.
RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to Delfi.
The Ministry of the Interior of Latvia stated that in order to increase the pace of construction of border security infrastructure, the possibility of attracting the resources of the National Armed Forces to the construction of infrastructure was considered.
It is planned that with the support of the military, two sections of 11.07 km and 8.45 km can be built, respectively.
