The Lithuanian Ministry of National Defense will receive €130 million to accelerate the purchase of unmanned aerial vehicles, counter-drone systems, as well as to upgrade existing mobile air defense systems and purchase new ones.

"We will be able to implement various projects necessary for national defense, such as the procurement of unmanned aerial vehicles, anti-drone systems and mobile air defense systems, radios, weapons and other items later this year. Part of the funds will also be used to purchase Lithuanian-made military equipment," the minister said.
