Lithuania has announced the transfer of a new military assistance package to Ukraine, which includes demolition systems, maritime surveillance radars, and ammunition for the Carl Gustaf anti-tank grenade launcher.
This was reported on the website of the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense following the 15th meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
In addition, it is noted that starting in September, Leopard tanks intended for Ukraine will be repaired in Lithuania.
During the meeting in the Ramstein format, Lithuania also signed a declaration of intent to join the IT Coalition. The participating countries plan to create a unified digital system for combat control and management of defense resources of the Defense Forces.
Also, the Minister of Defense Arvydas Anušauskas confirmed the desire to launch a coalition for demining. He discussed this idea with his Croatian counterpart Mario Banožić.
