The self-proclaimed president of Belarus may be in critical condition. Lukashenko is reportedly under the supervision of leading medical experts after his meeting with Putin.

Belarusian opposition politician Valery Tsepkalo tweeted this information. According to him, Lukashenka was urgently hospitalized after a meeting with Russian President Putin.

Traces of poisoning may be hidden

According to preliminary information, which is subject to further confirmation, after a closed-door meeting with Putin, Lukashenko was urgently transported to the Central Clinical Hospital in Moscow,

- Cepkalo said.

He noted that the Belarusian dictator is currently under the supervision of medical specialists. Moreover, leading doctors have been involved in the treatment of Lukashenko, who may be in critical condition.

The politician noted that the dictator had undergone blood purification procedures. Moreover, he is considered non-transportable. According to Tsepkal, the efforts to rescue the self-proclaimed president had a clear goal: "to dispel speculation about the Kremlin's alleged involvement in his poisoning."

Lukashenko may relapse

Regardless of whether he recovers or not, doctors warn of the possibility of relapses,

He also appealed to Western partners. He called on them to convene a strategic session in the coming days. During it, they should discuss the "Elections" initiative and other measures that need to be taken "to ensure the transition period."
