French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday had a telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelenskyy because of reports of the new shelling of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.
He said this while speaking in Paris at an international conference in support of Moldova, Le Figaro writes.
"With each military victory of Ukraine, the recapture of the Kharkiv region, as well as the return of Kherson, Russia reacts with new shelling of Ukraine's most important infrastructures," Macron said.
The French president on Sunday held talks with IAEA Director General Raphael Grossi about the situation of the Zaporizhzhya power plant.
